As a makeup lover and collector, there is always something to look forward to in the makeup world. That is the beauty of this industry. Trends always come full circle, better products are released and exciting collaborations are established. This palette ignited that excitement in me!!! It was one of my personal must haves for the year and I was honored to receive it from Morphe Brushes. They have collaborated with the fabulous Jaclyn Hill and created, in my opinion, one of the most well rounded and versatile palettes of the year at a ridiculous affordable price.

Motives Cosmetics 2015 Collection
Motives Cosmetics is rocking the makeup industry in recent years. They released a host of new products at their World Conference this past February in Miami. The collection consisted of an array of blushes, eyeshadows, lipsticks and liquid lipsticks. I’ve had the privilege of receiving the whole collection.

Top 5 Foundations of 2014
One of the hardest makeup products to find is the PERFECT foundation. It’s ironic because there are literally a million different companies that offer a wide range of shades and formulas, which I think adds to the frustration of “Where do I even start looking?”. Before I was a makeup artist I tried a ton of different foundations trying to find the formulation for my own skin. They either made me break out, oxidized and turned orange, or would slide around after a few hours.
After years of searching I have finally found a few different foundations that worked for me and also made it into my makeup kit. But before we get into those, let’s talk a little bit about skin types and picking the right foundation.
Highlighters: My Top 15
Who doesn’t love glowing, luminescent skin? I know that I do. I originally planned on selecting my Top 5 Highlighters, but let’s be serious. There is no way that I could have narrowed down this list to just 5. As a freelance makeup artist that comes across all different skin tones, it is essential to have various highlighters that compliment all ranges of beauty. I also like to make sure I have different textures and formulas to alter the finish of look I am going for.
There are three different types of Highlighters: Powder, Cream and Liquid.
Glitters & Pigments: Holiday Edition by Violet Voss
The lovely Violet Voss Team have released a bunch of new glitters and brand new pigments to their ever growing collection of fabulous products. I have always been a fan of their perfectly organized glitters but this year they have totally outdone themselves. I have recently been loving the holographic components in EVERYTHING, so the fact that it’s been incorporated into this holiday collection makes it extra beautiful…in my eyes.
Venus: The Grunge Palette
Hi Lovies. So Lime Crime has released one of my most anticipated palettes of the year. They posted a picture of this beauty a few weeks ago and I instantly fell in love. After a while, in the makeup industry it feels like you have essentially seen it all, and most companies either improve or piggyback off other great ideas. This Grunge palette is beautiful because it is totally outside of the box, in a good way. I think the company took a risk on it, but this sold out palette has been on the wish list of many. One of the reasons that I love Lime Crime is because everything about their brand screams originality and brilliance.
Fall Softly Collection by Sigma
Hi Lovies. I am back with another review. Two days ago I received this lovely package from Sigma. They never fall to amaze me with their extensive collection of gorgeous makeup and brushes. If you read my last Sigma review, the Steady Glow collection mainly consisted of bronzy and shimmery products which all warm up the skin beautifully, especially in the summer months. This collection takes you in a completely different direction, but not in the way you may have planned.
Glitter: Violet Voss Swatches
When it comes to glitter, I will continue to stock up with the justification that they are all completely different. And in my eyes they are. Glitters can be cut different sizes and shapes, reflects different color components and simply photograph uniquely.
6 Ways to Use Goldilux Pigment
Goldilux Pigment from Sugarpill. The Makeup World’s gift to us girls who love gold. This pigment is my absolute favorite EVER!!! That is saying a lot. For those wondering a pigment is a highly concentrated loose powder that can be applied to the skin. Essentially it is a concentrated eyeshadow. Apply it wet for an intense color payoff or dry for a more subtle effect.
