Dose of Colors Liquid Lipsticks

imageWhen it comes to lip products I always find myself gravitating towards lipsticks with a matte finish. Dose of Colors recently launched four brand new totally matte liquid lipsticks!!! And I must say, they are gorgeous! The packaging is sleek with a matte and semi transparent casing. The formulation is a thicker consistency with a beautiful pigmentation that lasts all day.

It didn’t move although I spent the day snacking and chatting. I had to reapply just a tiny bit to the center of my mouth after hours of wear. Pictures of the Collection Below:

Since these lipsticks do have an opaque finish and are long lasting, I like to make sure that I line my lips with a similar or nude liner just to avoid feathering and to achieve a cleaner edge. Using a lip liner is completely optional and not something that I live by, but I do prefer it with brighter shades. I pair my lipsticks or glosses with a liner color that is similar or slightly darker. My suggested pairing for the above products are: Merlot paired with “Currant” liner by Mac. Kiss of Fire paired with “Retro Red” by Motives Cosmetics. Berry Me paired with “Plum” by Mac. Purple Rain paired with Medium Wonder Pencil by NYX Cosmetics.

Personally I love them all. Which is your favorite?

      • I like suede berry, wicked, utopia and pink velvet. I has no idea dose of colours had these ones though so I am not sure which ones to try first!

      • I have Wicked, Salem and the Black one. I need Suede Berry and Pink Velvet in my life. I think they are both great products. Personally, I do get a slightly longer wear with Velvetines because I think the formula is more matte. But you can’t go wrong with either. Let me know which you go with 😉
